Our Story
A unique private school experience built around career readiness, academic excellence, and the certainty of opportunity for every student.
"High school graduation may have once been a finish line, but today it is just a beginning."
Metropolitan Transitional Academy (MTA) is a unique type of private school providing the integration of core academics, Career Technology Education (CTE), Skilled Trades Programs and ESports for students in grades 9–12, up to age 22 for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students.
MTA serves students in Southeast Florida, Palm Beach, Martin and Broward counties — and opening Fall 2026 in South Carolina through the Innovation E-Lab, Richland County Wellness Center in Columbia, S.C.
We believe every young person deserves a pathway to success — whether through college, skilled trades, military or entrepreneurship. MTA bridges the gap between high school and the real world.
MTA will be a School of Excellence where our students will focus on meeting and exceeding State Standards. We will create an innovative school where students acquire a rigorous academic foundation that they can apply in the community and the world around them in meaningful ways.
The Metropolitan Transitional Academy (MTA) "Providing Certainty of Opportunity" delivered through a powerful learning community centered on core values and a shared commitment to academic excellence. Metropolitan Transitional Academy graduates will be responsible, engaged citizens with employability and post-high school options who are prepared to be leaders of the future.
